The moment I picked up my dad's old Pentax as a 12-year-old, looking through that viewfinder opened up a whole new world for me. More than two decades later, I still feel the same excitement every time I frame a shot. My love for how light and shade shapes the world goes into every project I film, from commercial ads to music videos. Having a professional background in music, it isn't a surprise that the latter are the majority of my work. I enjoy working closely with musicians and supporting their work with a new layer of images.
Not one to boast with achievement, but a few random facts...
The music videos I've had the pleasure to shoot have accumulated more than 2.5 million views on youtube so far
National Geographic published my photo "Cloudy Horizon" in their January 2017 issue. I took this photo while being stuck with a snow mobile in the middle of Finnish Lapland. It reminded me of how I like to look at mishaps: You usually get something positive out of them as well, if you bother to look for it.
